Davey Shearer Golf Design brings together the expertise of two highly acclaimed golf course architects – Ben Davey and Bob Shearer.
Both Ben and Bob have experience in a wide and varied range of countries and terrains. From the mountainous topography of Korea and southern China, to the coastal sand dunes of Vietnam and, of course, Australia, where both designers learned to play and love the wonderful game of golf.

Davey Shearer believes in a hands-on approach to golf design and are convinced that a truly successful result can only be achieved when the architect commits himself to each project. Building on time and on budget relies on the quality of preparation during the design process, before construction begins. Success is achieved by spending time on the site, and in consultation with the client and the client’s consultants, by resolving most of the issues related to the design and construction of the course before construction begins.

At Davey Shearer we believe in a team approach to all aspects of a project, from the concept design stage right through to construction and the course opening. The true sign of a successful project is when everyone involved, from the contractors to the lead designers and the client, are proud of the end result and can celebrate this together.
